Mobile sales
Mobile Sales (sales from vehicles, sales at the customer’s location) is an important element of successful business operations and therefore represents a priority investment area for many manufacturers and distributors. Efficiency of sales representatives in the field is crucial, allowing them to serve as many customers as possible in a single day.
TI2GO on a mobile device (smartphone, tablet) enables the salesperson to easily create documents that accompany the delivery of goods to the customer (delivery note, invoice, issue slip, transfer slip/consignment note, etc.) or the return of goods from the customer, and print them on a mobile printer. On request, this document is transferred to the central system (ERP), eliminating the need for manual entry or waiting for physical document delivery.
The salesperson issues goods from their “own” warehouse. Each delivery vehicle is considered a separate warehouse, supplied with goods from the central warehouse via a transfer slip, and relieved of stock through one of the aforementioned documents.
Returning goods to the central warehouse is also carried out via a transfer slip, but in the “opposite” direction. The salesperson always has an accurate overview of their warehouse stock, and it is possible to perform a full inventory in accordance with the same rules as in the central warehouse.
To save on paper, ink, and time, the customer’s signature can be applied directly on the screen of the mobile device and displayed on the document before printing (optional).
Options include:
Printing the signed document and handing it to the customer, while an electronic PDF copy is sent to the central system.
Instead of printing, sending the signed document directly to the customer’s email address from the customer database. In this case, there is no need for printing at all – an excellent solution in case of printer failure.
Saving the signed document with the customer’s signature locally on the device, with automatic transfer to designated folders on the server, making it available for search and/or re-display/printing.
In all cases, the signed document (in PDF format) is sent to the central system for storage and further processing. (We recommend using the TI DOC system for managing electronic documents and archives.)
